CVISNET Foundation, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology Region 7 (DOST-7) and the Cebu Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (Cebu PDRRMO), conducted a 2- day Hands-on Training on the Barangay e-System and Tools (BeST) from November 19 to 20, 2025. The workshop, which brought together technical personnel and representatives from DOST-7 and the Cebu PDRRMO, focused on harnessing data-driven digital solutions to boost e-governance, public service delivery, and disaster preparedness.

BeST, one of CVISNET's flagship programs, is an internet-based e-governance solution that promotes public service transparency and provides a systematic approach to managing residents profile, form generation, and disaster risk reduction and management information systems.

The training aimed to equip participants with practical skills in using the BeST system, accelerating the digital transformation of government agencies and LGUs across the Central Visayas region.
